Jaina was planning on still being here next semester, but since she'd be gone for a lot of the break, she came into the office to make sure everything was in order before she came back.

This would be a lot easier if little trees didn't pop up every time she looked at a spot. After a while of getting annoyed at trying to figure out what to do about it, she found herself trying to test whether or not the trees really were popping up specifically where she looked. Honestly, it was a little disappointing to figure out that she didn't have that sort of power.

Alema had given them the slip again, though at least there'd been a fight to show for it, so that was something for Eric to be happy about, at least. Personally Jaina was officially tired of Dark Jedi trying to kill her parents and such, but there was only so much she could do about that. The meetings afterwards to go over Alema's whereabouts on the ship and figure out exactly where things went wrong had lasted much longer than Jaina's patience, and she'd eventually excused herself claiming she needed a sanisteam and sleep.

In reality, she marched herself on over to Eric's quarters to see if he wanted to do something, anything else, because he wasn't annoying her. Really, it was that or close herself off in her own quarters to see if she could deal with that stupid Cut the Rope game that always ended in her yelling things about letting Om Nom starve. Something told her that wouldn't frustrate her less, so she was knocking on Eric's door.

For once Jaina woke up late on purpose. She kind of figured that if you planned to go anywhere with a vampire and then started falling asleep at 23:00, it was probably pretty rude, so temporarily adjusting her schedule wasn't a big deal. Still, her day was going to be thrown off just a little by that, which was only made worse when she went to put up coffee, saw there were jelly beans coming from the faucet and realized it was going to be one of those days.

Then she realized what that meant and before even letting herself get too mad about it, she went into the bathroom, turned on the shower.... and sure enough, more jelly beans. "You had to pick today?" Jaina snapped at the shower head, like this was its fault. At least she'd discovered this before heading out to train. Oh, right, training now night be a bad idea. Great. That was just great.

It was hard to say whether the annoyance would have been abated or not by the stray marshmallow peeps that had rained onto her balcony. Probably best not to risk it.

[Mostly establishy as for some ungodly reason I'm still up at 3 am, but can be open if you'll wait for me to take up.]

Jaina didn't really think too much was up today. She'd gotten up, gone to the kitchen to get some water, and noticed it was green. She'd poured that out, tried to get some from the faucet and saw that too, was green, and decided Fandom was just being funny again. Once she'd discerned that it was fine to drink, she did so, not thinking anything of it.

She dressed to head to the gym for training, and it was by chance that she went into the bathroom for something to tie her hair back. Otherwise she might not have noticed that she was now green. "...Well, I guess I'm going to be green," she grumbled at her reflection, noting privately that it had damn well better just be temporary.

Staying home this week wasn't nearly as bad as it was at Thanksgiving, with Jaina figuring not being injured would make it easier to do things like train and work. Besides, after the whole mess with the labyrinth, she really wanted to make sure both her ship and her droid were in perfect working condition before taking them out. Since she was still up, she decided to get Sneaker from the junkyard and bring him inside for some quick work where it was nice and warm. If all went well, tomorrow she'd have him run a diagnostic on her StealthX.

She only left the living room area for as long as it took to get her comlink from her bedroom and do a quick check for messages, but when she came back, she saw several weetiny little elves all over the little droid... seemingly doing repairs. "Uh," she said eloquently.

The elves stopped what they were doing, and stared at her as if trying to figure out what to do now. And since Jaina was expecting them to do something, she stared back.

Nope, the elves weren't doing anything. Still staring, to the point of extreme awkwardness.

"Maybe you should let me do that," she said finally.

[NFB and NFI and would have been up earlier but I thought the elves were Thursday, la!]

Jaina was going to head out today, until a quick look out the window had told her that there was stuff raining from the sky. And whatever it was, it looked really pretty gross. Feeling like she should probably get a closer look just in case it was something worse than "pretty gross", she opened the balcony door to step outside and... find a plate of food.

Figuring she knew how this was going now, she went back inside just long enough to get a smaller plate, and stuck her arm out to catch some of raining stuff onto it. If it was something that tasted disgusting, guess what, she didn't want it covering the food. It didn't smell bad, at least, so she took both plates back inside, saying to herself, "At least I don't have to order in today..."

For as much as Jaina was glad to see things back to normal, there were some things to deal with in the aftermath that she hadn't counted on. Like making sure her cat grandfather had actual cat food, and cleaning up a kitchen because cat food hadn't been available yesterday. After some internal debate she decided to leave laundry until tomorrow, considering he seemed to like the basket.

"Just... no more trying to get to kitchen tools, okay?" she warned, looking to make sure she knew where he was. "I'm not trying to clean again before Tuesday." And then it was time to settle on the sofa with her comlink to check messages, glorious messages she could actually get again after a week.

Suffice to say, Jaina's day was sucking so far. Before heading out for training, there had been an onion. And it hadn't yelled at her, exactly, but it had just started... criticizing. Reminding her that she probably was better needed at home, and she was avoiding things, that she was just trying to not deal with the Jacen situation. Despite knowing this was Fandom weirdness and she shouldn't engage, Jaina had yelled back at it for a while before it pushed one button too many. Which really just gave it reason to pick on her dark side tendencies as she chopped that sucker apart and threw out the pieces.

There'd been another when she got back from training. Having already cried once today thanks to that first onion needing to be dealt with (and she'd insist that any tears were from that, not from the issues, thank you), she really didn't need to be told that her relationship with Zekk was weird, and that she probably only wanted to keep it the way it was because she knew he was one person who wouldn't be falling out of love with her, and come to think of it, wasn't it weird that the only person she felt she could relate to anymore here was her ex?

At that point Jaina decided to cheat. She picked up the still-talking onion, walked it across the apartment, stepped out onto the balcony, and threw the kriffing thing as far as she could.

She felt better.

Jaina's workout ran late today. She'd just had extra energy to burn off, so she took some extra time to do some additional training. When she got back to her apartment, pulling the tie from her hair to let her ponytail down, she found one of those hand things on the kitchen counter, arranging the flowers she'd received yesterday.

"Hey! Would you leave those alone?" she snapped, wondering just how that thing got in here and whether she should be worried. The sad thing was, as long as it didn't attack or sing at her, she didn't even care if it was here.

Abashed, the hand held its... well, itself palm out, as if saying Okay, and Jaina shook her head, heading for the shower. She wasn't going to tell the hand that it actually did some good work there.

Which was all well and good since the second the bathroom door closed, the hand went right back to work anyway.

It wasn't that Jaina was a slob or anything. It was just that Fandom had decided to go crazy the day before she'd decided to do laundry.

You don't want to know how long it took her to wrangle all the items into her duffel. You really, really don't. Especially since at one point Jaina had started looking at it as "And the Sword of the Jedi got defeated by a pair of workout pants."

At the moment, the clothes were in the bag, and the bag looked to be struggling. She kicked it once, just to show it who was boss, before picking it up and muttering something about finding someplace else for it to be so she could get some work done. Like maybe one of those convenient tubs.

Jaina had thought herself to be pretty oblivious to all around her while she looked over her datapad for research regarding next week's mission, but as it turns out, she was completely wrong on that. The first thud of something hitting the floor of her alcove had gotten her attention, and then by the time the rest of the things piled up, she was watching with an expression that was somewhere between surprise, anger, and general wtf.

There were pieces of luggage, of all shapes and sizes, gathered all around the foot of her bed and blocking the doorway to the alcove, more or less trapping her inside. And after spending four days in her room a couple weeks ago, she wasn't having that, so she got up to make herself a path. She could have just blasted them into the hallway with a Force push and wouldn't her cabinmates love her for that, but curiosity got the better of her and she decided to move them out of the way manually so she could see what was written on them.

So that's why Jaina was standing as close to the doorway of her alcove as she could get, lifting baggage and making comments, mostly offended, as she moved them out of her way. Among them was a suitcase marked MOMMY ISSUES ("I got over those!" Which was mostly true), another one with BOYFRIEND MARRIED ANOTHER WOMAN on it ("That, too!" Slightly less mostly true), a matching set of black bags, one labeled PTSD ("I do not!" Yes she did) and DEAD BROTHER ("Oh, low blow."), a large, heavy trunk marked SUCKY DESTINY ("Don't put it like that.") and a smaller, but still heavy matching trunk with MAY KILL BROTHER SOMEDAY, at which point Jaina stuck her hands on her hips and demanded of nothing in particular, "Do you have to announce it to the whole world?"

This might take a while.

[Totes open, with usual warning for SP at work, but dude I so need to play. *pats poor issueful girl*]

Jaina wasn't going anywhere yet, but with no set date on when she was, she was doing some spring cleaning and clearing stuff out so when she did go, it'd be easier. Fandom was the first place in a long time that she'd stayed long enough to accumulate stuff, and once she started going through her closet she found that there was a lot of said stuff.

So the box that she'd packed up after Myrkr, back when she didn't think she was going to live to see last December, was being sorted through. Things she knew she'd never use again tossed away, things she wanted to keep were put back in the box. There were clothes and dresses to be donated, and that box of things she'd packed up after she'd broken up with John last year... that was all being kept. There was also a certain hat she'd found that Luke had given her forever ago...

....that ended up on her head a second after she put it down. And wouldn't come off. After a while of trying, Jaina had to resign herself to the annoying fact that it just wasn't going to come off till it was ready, and Fandom was a mean, weird town.

Basically, the room was a mess, and when Jaina looked around at the piles of things, she had to be a little irritated at herself that the attempt to clean stuff out was going to have to get cleaned up in itself. While wearing an airplane hat. Couldn't forget that part.

[I've had a weird day. Therefore Jaina is wearing a stupid hat. Door and post, of course, are open.]

Waking up in a strange bed was a little new for Beth. Usually you got everything done in the backseat and then you got dropped off back at home for the night, possibly without your bra. Not knowing how she got here and knowing she hadn't gotten drunk and done something stupid, since it was hard to find alcoholic vegan options at parties, you wouldn't even believe. So this morning was already starting off weird.

Getting up and exploring her surroundings some, it didn't seem like anyone would be coming back soon, so hopefully they didn't mind her at least making herself presentable before leaving. Though when she did a quick search of the bathroom and found that whoever lived here didn't even own hair products, she was wondering what was wrong with them.

That probably meant she shouldn't check the closet. But now she had to. She had to see what it looked like. And then once she opened the door and saw what it looked like in there, she started going through it, muttering, "Boring, boring, boring, has potential, boring..."

Jaina would never have believed she could even think it, but she was sort of glad to be able to get to Fandom after spending Thanksgiving with the family, because now she could get back to her routine. Especially now that her routine was beginning to become less about distraction and more about training again as she adjusted to certain new realities.

Too bad her routine got shot to hell today by a rare bout of oversleep coupled with work calls she had to take care of, so she didn't get to go for her workout till after class. Afterwards, she came back to her room, opened the water bottle on her desk, and went to drink from it-

"Ugh," she said, pulling it away from her mouth after tasting what was actually inside. It wasn't that it was bad, it was just that she needed actual water after that much time in the gym, not egg nog. Deciding that maybe she'd just head for the shower instead, it was a really good thing she ran the water before stepping in.

Fine. She'd just change clothes and stay sweaty today. Thanks, Fandom!

Jayna was immediately awake as soon as she opened her eyes and stretched, and sat up. She was luckily wearing her purple spandex jumpsuit, because this was a kids' show it might be even stranger to wake up next to a stranger this way. She had no memory of this person and surely wasn't used to having to share a bed, except for maybe those nights when Gleek got lonely.

As it was, she was left with a very confused, "Oh my."

[For the rooms owner. Yes, Jaina is now a Wonder Twin. Oh come on, like the joke was never made in the SW community.]

Jaina woke to a few thoughts in her head even in those first few seconds when you rightfully shouldn't be able to think of anything:

1. She had to get up and make her usual checkup calls back home and see what she'd been sent overnight.
2. She had class to go to.
3. She had enough time that she could spend a little while longer snuggled up to her boyfriend, all warm and comfortable.

Focusing on the third option for now, she slung her arm over him, pulling herself closer just because she could.

[Open door, open post! No, not really. For the bf who I totes modded, mwaahahaha.]
