Office hours- Saturday

Aside from the extremely strange experience of meeting herself and still wanting to give Anakin all the hugs from the other day, Jaina was finding this weekend kind of great. It almost felt weird, since she'd been in such a blah state for so long, but she'd take it.

Today meant leaving Jag to his own devices, wishing him and his brain luck in this town, and heading off to her office in case anyone was wondering why their kid was taking a class on combat. Of course, it did occur to her that any kid who was willingly taking a class on combat probably didn't have parents who'd question it too much.

Bran was beginning to wonder what Mercedes thought she was preparing for with some of these classes. Not that he disapproved of being able to protect oneself she just seemed to have a course load heavy in the subject and light on other things he would think more useful day to day. Strategy, the paper said for this one as he rounded the corner and paused to knock on the door. Jaina Solo was the teacher's name, he said it twice in his head before pocketing the paper and shoving his hands in his pockets as well. He rocked back and forth on his feet. It wasn't a bad school, Mercy seemed to be fitting in which was pleasing.

"You're so young!"

Sorry, Jaina.

Bran stepped into the room and paused in case she preferred to confer with the door closed before moving forward to offer her a handshake. "Professor Solo?" He asked to be certain Mercy's instructions had been accurate. "I am Bran Cornick, Mercy's guest." He smiled at her with a lopsided grin he often used to disarm people.

"Sure hope so. You teaching Cade t' shoot straight?"

He shook her hand and then settled into the chair, absently leaning it back on two legs with... far too much dexterity for someone who looked so young. The chair settled on all fours and he leaned forward, putting his clasped hands on her desk. "I would like that very much." He agreed. "You instruct in strategy?"

"Teaching him not to shoot everyone?" Bantha amended.

"Did you have to make anyone cry first, or did they take you at your word?" Bantha asked.

"Kind of disappointed to hear that, not gonna lie," Bantha replied.

"Old family friend, lotta years ago," Bantha replied. "Back when I was much smaller than Cade."

"Still a looker," Bantha said with a wink.

"Met him yesterday," Bantha said. "White stripe?"

"I might have seen him around."

Now he's just messing with you, Jaina.

"Gave good bantha rides."

This was not true.

"He made the same face the only time I ever asked," Bantha said with a laugh.
