Room 313, Tuesday night
Jaina had been bored enough to actually debate going out for a while, wondering if everyone else had gotten over their embarrassment to go out into public yet. However, her comlink going off stopped her before she could go anywhere.
She wasn't able to keep the surprise out of her voice when she answered and saw Kyp's image before her. "So you do remember I exist."
"You look so shocked," Kyp said, almost smiling.
"Yeah, well, I doubt I can be blamed."
"Borleias is a go," he said.
Jaina dropped the attitude, not wanting to get her hopes up. "And you're telling me this to tease me?"
"I'm telling you this because you're going to need to be here in a couple days your time if you want to take part, Great One."
"If you're messing with me, I swear you're not getting out of that lightsaber fight alive."
Kyp laughed. "I doubt that."
"What changed your mind?" she wondered.
"You stopped pressing to come back. I haven't heard from you in weeks," he replied. "As long as you were begging to come home, you couldn't have been actually working on any of the things I sent you there to work on."
Jaina hated that that sort of made sense to her. And that it seemed like a really obvious reason. Still, she was going home. "Yeah, okay. Just tell me the details."
By the time she ended the transmission, she was doing her best not to get too excited. She was probably still going to have to do a lot of proving herself when she got there, but still, now she could.
Okay, there went not getting too excited.
[Open door, open post post-phone call. There are way too many repeat words there.]
