Somewhere near the beach- Wednesday evening
Hearing radio last night had probably kept at least a couple people indoors today, but that would be the exact opposite of Jaina's style. If there were things in the creepy fog, then she was going to be out in the creepy fog. It could be blamed in part on natural curiosity, in part her job description, and in part because some weird prophecy thing told her she had to do this sort of thing.
After a while of patrolling, though, she was beginning to doubt whether coming out here was a good idea after all. There'd been far too much seeing things that weren't there a second later, and when you found yourself running through calming techniques while being ready to possibly fight things, that was a problem.
[For one, unless the NPCers get bored and wanna throw a monster in.]

He eventually realized that he was near the beach due to the lack of buildings. "Okay, so I have some idea where I am," he muttered to himself. Just then, he spotted a friendly shape in the fog. "Jaina? Hey! What are you doing out here?"

Jaina saw the human-sized lizard thing, and while she came from somewhere where that wasn't exactly abnormal, it was abnormal here. And she didn't hear words, just... animal sounds, or something. Still, her danger sense wasn't going off. She could separate that from paranoia, at least so far.
Her hand on her lightsaber, she stood her ground for a moment, waiting to see if it would do anything.

No, technically, she hadn't.

Well, kind of a warning, anyway.
She extended her hand, trying to send it flying backward with a Force push.

"Okay, that's it," she said, heading towards him with her lightsaber raised.

She shook it off, bringing her lightsaber back up and running torward the creature.

It was probably good for them both that her brain automatically took things like this in even in the middle of a fight, thanks to years of battles. Although her next swing was very definitely a serious attempt to end the fight, or at least sever something, she was very curious as to what it would do.

But the growling noise somewhere behind her made her stop. Lightsaber still raised, she turned her head to see the shape of another one of the creatures wandering around somewhere behind her in the fog, but it wasn't coming closer either. Okay then, first things first.
Jaina turned back to the one she'd been fighting, but... it didn't look right. The shape seemed to be losing form somehow, and she hesitated, not wanting to strike without knowing what was happening.

Well, more nonthreatening.

But when she looked back in front of her, she didn't even see the monster anymore.
The curses going through her head were really not fit on repeating on most respectable words.
"Zayne?" Not that she trusted at the moment that it was really Zayne, but she was pretty sure.

"We shouldn't be out here," Jaina decided, already looking to try and get her directional bearings back in the fog.
