Room 512, Monday morning

Jaina was aware of two things immediately when she woke up.

1. She was on the floor, with a pillow on her head.
2. She had the worst headache any human could ever stand to have without their head exploding out of mercy.

Taking a moment to see if she couldn't do something about the headache, it suddenly occurred to her why she had a headache. Because forgetting the stuff she'd done the day before yesterday (including thinking her boyfriend was a one night stand, messing with some guy, and insulting Victor) she'd gone to scam drugs off a disabled girl at the clinic, then gone drinking, flirted with... a different some guy, and flashed a drag queen before coming back and- where was she?

She sat up, getting more pounding in her head at her troubles, and saw the girl in the bed. She'd never been so glad to have been pushed out of a bed in all her life, because that would have been scarring.

Brooke didn't do anything that bad this weekend. Which meant she was really amused to see the girl that looked like her coming off a really bad time on her floor. "Morning, Sunshine!" she said brightly.

"If possible, I hate you more," Jaina grumbled, getting up to her feet. It was harder than she would have thought, and her head hated her, and she really didn't like the way her stomach felt. It may have been entirely possible that she was still kind of drunk.

"Awww, that's not nice," Brooke told her. "I was going to tell you where the hangover pills were, but if you're going to be that way..."

"Oh, because you need more substances at your disposal," Jaina shot back. Being mean back kind of helped her headache.

"You know, normally I'd freak out about this whole spending-my-weekend-as-someone-else thing with you-walking-around-pretending-like-you're-me thing, but this makes it totally worth it," Brooke told her thoughtfully.

"I wasn't pretending, I was you," Jaina said. "I feel like I should shower. About a dozen times."

"Oh, you so couldn't have been me," Brooke frowned. "I'm me."

The fact that she hadn't been her did occur to her, but she was still new to Fandom and couldn't handle that thought right now.

"Welcome to Fandom, princess," Jaina said, wisely suppressing the eyeroll as she started for the door.

Brooke really didn't like the sound of that. "And you're not getting any hangover pills if you come back later, either!" she called at the door as Jaina left.

"Why", said a muffled voice from somewhere among the pillows on Michael's bed, "was there some chick in our room who doesn't live here?"

"Because she's crazy," said Brooke, thinking that was as good an explanation as any, true or not. She did sort of believe it, anyway.

"So she just invaded?" He raised his head, blinking.

"She was under the impression this was her room," she said, making herself comfortable uner the covers again. "She's been corrected."

"...oh. She got hit with the weird too? Or was she just drunk?"

"No, I think both things, technically," Brooke said slowly. The idea of someone else being her was still something she didn't want to deal with yet. "You got hit with weird?"

"Yeah. Got turned into someone else that looked like me."

"I was blonde," she said helpfully. "I think I hate this town."

"Pierced and a stupid beard", he countered. "And... yeah, I could live without that stuff."
