The last time Jag had texted for Jaina, she'd been in the hospital after the worst day of her life.

This time, the setting was similar, but the reasons were very different.

Once everything had settled down and Jag had finally kicked everybody out to let the family spend some time alone, Jaina asked him to get a picture of the twins and send out a message to those who'd want to know. She'd have done it herself, but she'd done enough today, thank you.

So along with a picture of two little, wrinkly baby boys, they'd get the message, Meet Dax and Daniel. They and Jaina are doing well.

"You couldn't have spiced that up a little?" Jaina asked when she saw what he'd sent.

"And how would you have wanted me to do that?" Jag asked.

"Tell them that if they say my babies look like Yoda I'll end them as soon as I can feel my legs again."

"Ah. You should lead with that next time."

Plus I have Jag, and he's probably messed something up like twice in his entire life.

Shhh yes she was still figuring the boys were going to end up with Issues but it helped to know that ahead of time, right?

Just enough to make them funny, not enough to construct their own lightsabers and launch elaborate altars to their dead great-grandfather, mmkay?

You love them. It makes all the difference.

I love them, AND they get a scary bodyguard to follow them everywhere.

Nope. He's a Lasat, left the military to go to work for Jag. I don't think he hates me any more? At any rate he's good.

Jaina looked up at Jag. "Does Muscow still hate me?"

"Only a little," he replied without skipping a beat.

I'm glad you're comfortable with him, then. And being good is more important than what they feel about you. I protected a lot of people I didn't personally like.

Exactly. And I'm a Jedi, an outsider, etc. I've gotta earn that respect.

Glad that you recognize it, Anakin said, but you're you. They'll respect you, despite the Jedi thing.

You have more faith in that than I do, but I appreciate it.

I know you, Anakin said. They'll love you once they get over themselves.

Thanks. They'll love the boys, that's the important part.

They are very lovable, especially when they let you sleep through the night. I hear that will start happening for me again soon.
