Coruscant- Thursday night
While Jaina was more than happy to spend this much time in Fandom (a fact her teenage self wouldn't have ever believed), it was also killing her to be sitting around doing nothing. So they'd celebrated the boys' birthday- after a fire drill- and the next day Jaina had gone home.
There were leads on the cell that they believed was after the family, but she was under very strict orders to not pursue the lead so she didn't throw them off.
Instead, Jaina was on Coruscant, being very visible. She'd so far managed to escape having bodyguards, she'd made a point to be seen with family members, and while she still wasn't the Jedi's favorite person, they had offered help that she'd denied. Politely. Here she was, an open target, all alone and vulnerable, just begging for someone to try and kill her. Maybe they could catch someone. Maybe they could get more information. Maybe.
It wasn't happening. As far as anyone could tell, the cell was making no movement towards her, and she seemed to be in no real danger. It was sort of disappointing, if she was being honest. Disappointing and unsettling. She'd had a feeling they weren't after her, and she had no idea why.
She was staying in the hotel quarters that Jag had been using as his Coruscant home base since his Head of State days, After another day of not having her life threatened, she headed back to said quarters, where she sat on the too-hard sofa and sent a message off to Jag to see if it was a good time to call the kids, since she didn't like how empty it felt in here.
One more day. Then it was time to head back and let the pros do their jobs.

And Jaina's presence had been gone for too long for his comfort.
So check that comlink, Jaina, because your grandfather was doing a wellness check while pretending to be Very Casual about it.
