Adorable Panda A4, Wednesday night
There were a lot of things Jaina didn't want to deal with when she left the stables. Which was why she'd spent as much time as possible in the flight shed, running through scenarios and occasionally picking up her comlink to call home whenever she'd thought of something that could be useful. And when she realized it was dark out, she knew she'd have to go back, mainly because this week it might take her a few hours to do so.
When she got back to Adorable Panda, her first stop, funnily enough, was to find John, still bunnified... and covered in chocolate. "If this is some sort of sign, we can grab dinner once you're human again," she said, picking him up and starting toward the bathroom, because he wasn't getting cuddles till he was clean again.
She could really deal with the distraction, yes.

Just please, please? Could there not be girly soap involved? Use his! It was vanilla.

He squeezed his eyes shut, making sure to keep his ears out of the water while he waited for her to wash his face.

His big, pointy bunny ears flattened down like the wings on an airplane and he looked up at her with wide hazel eyes as if to share the feelings of his day with her.

Shaking off excess water, he burrowed into the towel. So. Much. Better.

As his fur started to dry, little patches of fluff stood on end and the fur around the base of his ears looked like a 14-year-old from the 80s had crimped it.

See? This was him huffing and pouting. He didn't look much different, but he was making some weird bunny sound.

Some girls carried purses, Jaina carried a fluffy boyfriend.

He had an excellent sense of direction. Really.

Besides, he could make bunny noises that were almost like a cat purring. Totally worthy of a cuddle.

Rolling onto his side he looked up to her as if to say, 'tell me about it.' He really was all ears here.

He pawed at her and snuggled deeper, ears relaxed. If she was gonna be quiet, he was gonna nap.

John was not weeping. He was breathing loudly through his twitchy bunny nose as he drifted off to sleep.
