Las Vegas- Friday evening Fandom time

Apparently this was the week for Vegas or something. John was on spring break, and since Jaina seemed to be commuting for her weekends anyway, they needed to go somewhere that wasn't San Diego. For some reason. She didn't even know.

She kind of felt comfortable here, too. While the party side of things didn't really appeal to her, she was used to the lights and the noise and the crowds, and she didn't see a lot of that anymore. Plus it gave her a chance to clean up at the poker table and then wander around where she wasn't worried that security was checking them out. (She was doing nothing wrong. She was just good, okay?) And it just so happened that some of the wandering was done past stores that led to comments like, "This city just specializes in hookerwear, doesn't it?"

"I highly doubt this is supposed to be worn outdoors. In broad daylight," Jaina said, both wanting to touch it and not wanting to know.

"Maybe in a really, really, really private lawn," John reasoned. "I can't imagine trying to get it on."

"Want to try?" she joked. "It's not a bra."

"On you? Sure," he smirked. "Definitely not something for men."

"I think this would cut off blood circulation on me," Jaina said, eying it warily.

"It's okay, you're tiny," he said, considering the...thing and how it would fit. "What's it supposed to cover?"

"Probably nothing," she said. "And not worth the trouble of getting it off."

"Would you even have to?" John wondered. "Because you know, it'd rip real easy."

"You've threatened to do that to my clothes enough, some people might find that a draw," she said. Wow, did she really say that in public?

John glanced around, because that would be great for his reputation. "I don't think you have ever been too keen on that idea." This did not mean he didn't still like it, he was just respectful.

"Because I tend to be short on clothing," she pointed out. She did lower her voice, though.

"Well, I'll buy you more," he suggested. Oh, just wait till she visited again.

"Just to destroy them," she noted. Not that she was exactly put off by this idea.

"...Yes." It made sense on some level. "It'd be just like your normal clothes but expendable since you don't have much." Or she could build a wardrobe...that would be odd.

"I'm a little worried about what these clothes would look like then," she said. Or they'd be in the right store.

One eyebrow lifted, "Not from here, Jaina. Though now I'm tempted to get you this just to make you twitch."

"Oh, that's just mean," she laughed. "And it'd get used as a dishrag or something. With straps."

John snorted, trying not to laugh out loud at the idea of her doing dishes.

"What?" she asked, looking over at him.

"Nothing, just didn't realize you were in need of dishrags."

"I'm sure someone in a common room would use it," Jaina deadpanned.

"What's that supposed to mean?" she asked.

John was suddenly very interested in looking at a rack of strange...maybe it was swimwear. He could hope. "Oh look at this. Might need a cover up."
