Room 313- Sunday morning

John had been called back to work last night, which left Jaina with the kids on her own for the rest of the weekend, and she was glad that they didn't seem to be picking up on any of the little latent emo she had going on this weekend. She had a feeling if they did, they would have said something. Loudly. Using many words.

They were a little too quiet as she got them ready for the day, and she finally had to ask, "So, what's up with you two?"

Sitting on the bed, Jordin kicked her legs against the mattress and said, "Well... last time Grandma and Grandpa called."

Technically they had called. "And the time before, Uncle Jacen called," Jaryd added, picking up on his sister's line of thought.

Jaina had to seriously think about this. Was she going to get more grief about settling down if she let them? Probably not. She'd pretty much silenced that after the breakup. Was she going to have to explain some things when she went home soon? Yeah, probably. At least it wouldn't be the first time.

"You get five minutes," she said. "No more."

"Yay!" Jordin said, jumping to her feet, joined a second later by her brother's "Yaaaay!" which went on just a little longer to compensate. "I'm gonna tell them everything that happened since last time!"

In five minutes.

Sadly, they might be able to do it. Just not without arguing.
