Jedi Temple- Monday afternoon on

Since Abeloth had been defeated, Jaina had been just slightly busy. Luke still wasn't recovered from whatever happened to him beyond shadows, so she'd been spending a lot of time at the medical center. Then there was helping to take out the rest of the Sith that had been on Coruscant. And getting used to her new duties as a Master. And dealing with the fallout of the Sith knowing who Allana was, which meant that she'd be going home to her actual mother soon. And packing up her quarters at the Temple to move into her own place with her former Head of State fiance. And finally, finally getting to plan her kriffing wedding.

And so when she actually had some time to herself, she sent along a message to people: It's finally happening. The wedding's Saturday, June 20, out here. Fancy invitations with details to follow, this is just the probably tacky save the date. :)

Then she went back to packing things up, and wondering how weird it'd be if she showed up to the new place with a box full of boxes of dirt.

Because it wasn't a major mission involving a member of the Skywalker-Solo family until someone spent some time unconscious, but really now, Luke.

That part sounds the opposite of exciting and I don't envy you that. Congratulations, though.

Thanks. With everything else going on I kind of forgot about the whole Master thing. That's probably weird.

Not that weird. If you had other things going on I can see how they would take priority. Promotions don't usually involve having to duck blaster bolts.

Funny story, I got the promotion like 30 seconds before going on what I thought was a suicide mission. Luke has weird timing.

Obviously. Not much. Still wandering through the Unknown Regions, trying to get the former castes to integrate more. Sometimes I think I'd have better luck digging through ferrocrete with my bare hands. I can't say a vacation isn't going to be really nice.

You're getting married. Arguably that's pretty impressive itself. Besides, I get to see you, and not have to listen to petty bickering for a day or two. That's plenty of vacation as far as I'm concerned.
