Flight Shed, Sunday afternoon

Jaina probably shouldn't have been surprised she managed to get permission to use the sim from her grandfather, but she was. And yes, she was a little gleeful at getting back into even simulated flight. Okay, so she kind of missed this sort of thing, and she would take what she could get.

She got down there early, unlocked the door, and waited outside for John.

"This isn't some secret plan to get me to do all the work, is it?"

She had no idea what they were talking about anymore, but it was just too easy to roll with it with him.

"No, but it really should be," John was impressed. Despite having thoughts along the same lines as hers.

"Now I'm on to you if you decide to change it after I said something." Why was she still talking?

John was seriously confused now and had no idea what he'd be changing. "Trust me when I say I wouldn't change you liking me or my sense of humor."

"Good. I wasn't planning on changing that... What are we talking about?"

"Um..." John looked thoughtful. "I'm not really sure anymore."

"Probably doesn't matter anyway, if we're not sure," she said.

"Right," he agreed. "So, I guess we should head back..." Not that he was keen on ending their conversation.

Jaina was right there with him. "Yeah. We've been here for a while..."

"But we'll do this again...soon?" Oh the hope in his voice.

"Definitely," Jaina said, smiling at the tone. "I think we've given ourselves enough reasons."

John grinned at her response. "Then, can I walk you back to your dorm?" he offered his arm in a gentlemanly fashion.

"You definitely can," she said, making sure to have the keys out to lock up before looping her arm through this.

He chuckled, "You know, I still half expected that you broke in, even knowing your connections."

"And get grounded?" she asked with an eyebrow raise. "I'm not sure he'd try it, but I'd rather not find out until I have to."

"Yeah I wouldn't like to be grounded either," he said. "I respect your choice. Of course, that doesn't mean I don't want in if you do go breaking and entering."

"It's one of those useful skills if you really need to get out of something," she said, which wasn't to say she hadn't built herself a lockpick for exactly that sort of situation. "But if I ever need to, you'll get a call."

"Very cool," he said as they continued walking.

"You have breaking an entering aspirations?" she asked.

"I'm fond of acquiring new skills."

"What would you break into if you could?" she asked, curious.

"Possibly a friend's dorm room, to play a prank," even though he didn't have a prank planned yet.

"Remind me to barricade my door when I'm not awake and alert," she teased.

"You haven't given me reason to prank you, yet," he retorted.

"What should I avoid if I don't want to be pranked?" Jaina wondered.
