Room 527, Sunday night

Jaina got back upstairs later than she'd planned to, with the goodbyes she had to say and Fight Club, though not necessarily in that order. At least yesterday had been good, and she had tonight to look forward to. Hopefully.

There was a reason when she got to the room, she asked, "You're not a bunny again, are you?"

"Would not," she said, but was happy to fall silent for a bit if it meant she got the last word there. Till she found something new to comment on.

When she did comment, he wasn't going to be surprised, but he was intrigued to see just what part of the movie caught her interest. It was a favorite, after all.

It didn't take too long. She started frowning a bit first as she watched, then noted after a moment, "The princess is a bitch."

Jaina might need a mirror for some of her interactions.

"Yeah," John agreed.

"I mean, at least smile at him or something."

"He's winning her over," John promised.

"And he could do better."

"Doesn't mean he wants to," John pointed out. "Maybe we just don't know her very well yet."

"Maybe," she said, though she doubted it. She'd watch a bit more before making up her mind anyway.

John would just sit there and mouth the funnier lines along with the people on the screen while he waited for Jaina to comment again.

At one point, Jaina looked over at him to see his reactions, and noticed the mouthing, which just brought a lopsided smile to her face.

He stopped as soon as he was caught and gave her a completely innocent look.

"I saw that," she said, still smiling.

"What? There was nothing to see." Ignore how this was a movie John had confused her with quotes from on many occasions.

"Uh huh." The smile wasn't going away, even if he wouldn't cop to it. Just wait till she recognized a quote.

He wasn't about to be upset that she was smiling. They had one day left together in Fandom and it'd be nice if there was a lot of smiling.

Jaina rested her head against his shoulder, content to watch more for a bit. "This really isn't so bad," she said. And they hadn't even attempted making out yet.

"The humor and insanity goes a long way in keeping it entertaining," he agreed.

"We might make it through this one," she threatened.

"Had to happen someday," he teased, reaching over to tousle her hair.

"It just seems wrong," she said, playfully swatting at his hand.

"That you're not trying to jump me during a movie? Yes, that's very wrong," John teased.

"Hey, I'm not always the one doing the jumping."

...Was she? She was wondering now. No, she was pretty sure he'd initiated makeouts at least once.

He had; he just thought it was more fun when she did. "No, but you always participate."

"Because I'm not crazy," Jaina nodded.
