Room 527, Saturday morning

Jaina was aware of one thing before she actually woke up, and that was that she wasn't alone. She was kind of cuddled up with someone else on a couch, and she wasn't complaining, because it was comfortable.

At least, she wasn't complaining until she realized she wasn't sure who this person was. That got her to open her eyes really fast to further realize that seeing who it was didn't help with the recognition thing. At least he was cute?

She picked her head up from his shoulder, looking around at the room. She wasn't sure where she was, either. Immediately she began a mental check, making sure she didn't feel drunk or hungover. She'd never been either, but still, it important to know for sure. And then she started checking her own head for bumps.

[For the owner of the room!]

"Obviously I cleaned up," he said, looking around at the immaculate room. Not that it being neat felt wrong. It felt very right that it should be neat, but who was he to argue? "I wanted to impress you with the neatness." He thought that was a pretty good save.

"Thanks," he said, faking pride. He wondered if he should be concerned about letting her go through his dresser. He didn't know what he kept in there, after all. "Let me know if you need help in your search."

"Not that I recall," he said honestly, wandering over to the strangely paper-free desk. "What are you missing?" As then he might be able to feign helping better.

"Huh." He wasn't sure if this was his fault or not and decided being argumentative could work. "You sure you left it here?" The personal contents of the room were quite sparse, after all.

He sat down in the swivel chair and spun to face her. "What's that supposed to mean?" he asked. Maybe they'd fought about this before.

"Well, I didn't move your supposed stuff," he mirrored her movement. "So maybe it was never here."

"Who knows what happened to your stuff," and crap that sounded like he wasn't sure! "I say it was never here since neither of us moved it."

"Don't you spend a lot of time here?" He was surprised that she didn't seem sure either.

"It's not just me then?" he asked. "I mean, I'm sorry to say I don't know your name despite really wishing I did." Which was true because, again, hot.

He frowned, "Can't say I do. Though I was sorta hoping you did."

"That was sort of my goal with looking at the desk," he said, indicating the paperless space. "Maybe if we both search we'll find something."

"Anything strange you find, just assume I have no idea what it is, since I actually don't right now," he commented, pulling open desk drawers.
