Jaina was really regretting getting John that Snuggie for his twenty-sixth birthday, for the simple fact that he never seemed to want to take it off. She'd raised an eyebrow when he said that he wanted it, and moreso when she actually had to go buy one and it was suddenly reality, but she'd figured it was something that he'd think was cool for a day and that'd be it.

Nope.

And after a while of watching him walk around in it today, she finally just had to say it. "Why do I think I'm being replaced by a sheet of fabric with holes?"

"Sharing is caring, Jaina," John reminded her.

"I have standards, and crawling into a blanket with sleeves while you're wearing it is just wrong," she said. "And your arms have to come out anyway if we're really going to get anywhere..."

"You reject me and my Snuggie and think you're gonna get somewhere?" John scoffed, crossing his arms and leaning back.

"Yeah, I do," Jaina said confidently, toying with the hem of her shirt. She was not above flashing him to get the Snuggie off, no.

He'd seen it before and would not fall for such a ruse. "Your confidence is gonna get you in trouble."

"What kind of trouble?" she asked, lifting the shirt a little higher.

"The disappointed kind," he said, raising an eyebrow at the start of her show.

"You wouldn't do that," she said, pulling the shirt about to her ribcage. Because if he chose the Snuggie over a shirtless girlfriend, someone was probably not getting any for a while.

"I wouldn't?" Call him curious, but he wanted to see how far she was gonna go with this.

"You'd better not," she teased, stopping just short of revealing anything good.

"You know, taking off your shirt doesn't equate with me taking off my warm blanket," he pointed out.

"If I took off my shirt, I'd make sure you wouldn't need your warm blanket," she pointed out right back.

"This I wanna see," he answered, smirkingly intrigued.

If she ended up taking off her shirt and getting rejected for a Snuggie, she was just going to be mad. She'd have faith in him to be both him and male, though, and pulled off her shirt, dropping it somewhere behind her.

Was this the first time anyone had ever stripped to get rid of a Snuggie?

He was waiting for the part where she made sure he didn't need his blanket. She had his full attention.

He'd gotten demanding in his old age. It used to be that all she had to do was undress and that'd be that. "This is where we start on your turn," she said, reaching to the collar of his Snuggie. See, there were so many things wrong with this.

The collar peeled away from his t-shirt with a small burst of static that John was just gonna ignore for a moment. "Taking it away doesn't mean I don't need it..."

"Have patience," she said, using both arms to start tugging it down more.

"This is me patient." Hopefully her hands didn't mind the ripple of static electricity the dry air in the apartment caused. As it was he flinched as his shirt tried to stay with the Snuggie.

Okay, hi, she was trying not to flinch and then not to giggle at all the static because having to pull a Snuggie off was enough as it was. It was like comedic balance to a serious talk. "How are you doing over there?" she asked innocently, trying to make sure he wasn't on the fabric.

He ripped his arms from the fleece, scooting away from her in the process of getting away from the static that kinda stung. "Fine. Wondering if you didn't take your shirt off just to steal my blanket."

Meanwhile, his shirt was now clinging to his chest like it was wet with static. Nice.

"I had much better motives than that," she assured him, plucking at his shirt a bit. "The clingy effect is really nice..."

"Yeah, but I bet your motives didn't involve getting cold," he remarked, reaching his own hands out to help keep her warm.

"A little bit of cold is an acceptable trade," she said, making sure the rest of the Snuggie was as much off of him as possible before leaning in to nuzzle his neck.

"You do realize that you just traded sex for blanket removal, right?" John thought she ought to know what she was starting and how he would probably now wear the Snuggie just to ensure he got some.
