Room 313, Monday after 4th period

After class, Jaina went back to her room to move in. She was an extremely light packer, so it took about two minutes to unpack, especially when she knew most of it would just end up going back upstairs. And she'd wonder about that for a second, because somehow she never really realized she did that.

And for as much as she'd never really had a permanent home in recent memory, she had to take a second to flop down on her bed, just because it was her bed, and she was used to it, and there were full walls and a door she could close and there was one roommate, not seven... Yes, she really had gotten spoiled here somehow.

"Up by me?" John wondered if he was laying above some misguided storage system among the mess he assumed still existed under her bed. "Getting up to something shouldn't be difficult. I vote for something entertaining."

He was distracted away from her question, "You do realize that's not the first time you've unpacked in my room."

He made a little sound of interest, but left it alone. "So, entertainment. Feel like going somewhere?"

"That's a little presumptuous, don't you think?" John said, nudging her.

"My reputation's not so bad, you know."

"We could go for a bike ride," he offered. No way that could end dirty.

"Or we could go golfing." He was just going to throw ideas at her.

"The mini golf floated away," John informed her. "And there's always hitting the boardwalk for a funnel cake. I wish they had a Ferris wheel."

"Maybe I should just leave you with the bike," he suggested.

"Two years and you're still into the bike," he teased. "Good thing it didn't end up with someone else."

"Unpacking in your room," he replied, sticking out his tongue.

He shrugged, "I think we've had that talk."

"Yes," he poked her, drawing out the word.
