Room 313, Saturday afternoon

After last night's trip to the common room, Jaina was still cracking up internally. Sorry, but now she had enough mocking opportunities for John, Karal and Gavin to last her for a good long time.

And she was pretty much getting ready to attempt tracking them down to do so, definitely knowing where to start.

Vaguely realizing where they where, she lifted her head to kiss his chin and said, "You know, I have no idea when or if Inara's getting back."

"Those sound like stopping words," he murmured, kissing along her jaw line and stopping to suck at the sweet spot just below her ear.

She let out a slow breath, murmuring, "Just stating a fact."

"Duly noted," he breathed against her neck.

If she could keep a little bit focused, she could probably sense someone on their way here anyway, she decided. So she turned her head, trying to catch his lips in another kiss.

He figured if she wasn't bothered by the possible roommate thing, he definitely wasn't bothered. So he kissed her back, hands keeping her close.

Already deepening the kiss, she let her hands wander, one slipping under the bottom of his shirt, against his back.

Making a pleased noise, he pressed himself back into her hands.

She ran her hand sideways across his skin and back, splaying her fingers just to touch more.

He tugged on her lip with his teeth, moving his hands up to her shoulders under her shirt.

She made a pleased sound, trying to push closer to him, like there was a lot of room left to do so.

If there was any space left, it was gone now, just as clothes would've been if it weren't for that pesky roommate problem. He was going to sulk about that later if he remembered.

Her other hand joined the first under his shirt, moving up and down over his lower back.

He arched beneath her hands, causing his chest to press against hers as he reclaimed her neck with his mouth.

She let out a quiet moan, tilting her head back to give him all the room he needed.

He appreciated the ease of access as he nipped and sucked along the line of her neck.

Liking the feel of that, she kneaded her hands against his back a little harder in unconscious response.

He licked and sucked his way to the edge of her collarbone, using one hand to push the collar of her shirt out of his way.

On one hand, she wanted the shirt gone. On the other, this was probably bad enough for anyone to walk in on. With one of those sounds that was becoming a regular thing now, she worked her hands over his sides, thumbs grazing along his ribs.

He was doing the best he could at getting around the shirt, tugging it out of the way to expose as much of her collarbone as he could for his purposes.

She let go of him with one hand, pulling the collar down as much as she could to help him out.

Face pressed to her exposed neckline, he chuckled at that, thinking she must be enjoying herself or she wouldn't be so helpful.

She was, and kind of moreso because she could feel the chuckle. She slid her hand further up the back of his shirt, hand coming to rest between his shoulderblades.

He kissed and nipped the exposed area thoroughly, moving his hand around to massage the back of her neck.

It probably should have worried her how difficult it was getting to stop, but this felt good and made it really hard to think. She bowed her head, turning it to kiss his ear in appreciation.
