Room 313, Saturday afternoon

After last night's trip to the common room, Jaina was still cracking up internally. Sorry, but now she had enough mocking opportunities for John, Karal and Gavin to last her for a good long time.

And she was pretty much getting ready to attempt tracking them down to do so, definitely knowing where to start.

John figured he should get the mocking out of the way, so he headed down to Jaina's room. Finding the door open, he leaned against the frame and sang out a low, "Helloooo!"

Always best to mock yourself first.

Jaina clapped her hands together a few times, grinning. "Is it serenading time?"

"Do you really want it to be serenading time?" he asked, really hoping that was a no.

"As much as I want to say yes, I don't think it'd be the same without your entourage," she told him.

"Probably not," John said, relieved. "I think Gavin may have a new career, though."

"I'm going to have such a hard time not laughing at him when I see him back home," she said, shaking her head. "I'm sorry you all fled the common room last night, you might have had flowers thrown at you or something."

"I have a hard time not laughing at him when I see him now," John said with a grin. "He has the strangest obsession with hair and underwear."

Jaina frowned. "I shouldn't ask..."

"I'll just say his rumors in class had a central focus," John informed her.

"I'm suddenly so glad I wasn't paying attention," she said. "Do you still have the hat?"

He raised an eyebrow, "Maybe...why?"

"Just curious if the next time I'm in your room, it's just going to be there."

"I try not to keep reminders of past idiocy just laying on the table," he replied. "Unless you...wanted it around?" And yes, his mind had gone to a bad place and he was a little worried.

Artoo whistled jauntily as he spent past Jaina's door with trayful of electronics.

The whistle sounded remarkably like one of the quartet's songs last night.

Jaina had to laugh at that, poking her head out the door. "Hey, Artoo, do you know the song from the finale?"

Artoo tootled happily and whirled his dome around to face her.

A second later, the four hapless idiots incredibly talented singers were doing their big finish in a light blue haze of holoprojection.

Artoo, naturally, beeped along.

Oh, that was just beautiful. Still laughing, she said, "Please tell meyou can make me a copy of that."

Artoo chirped an affirmative and rolled into her room, looking for a datapad to jack into.

Jaina grabbed one off her desk, offering it to him. "I knew I liked you."

Artoo? Totally preening as he uploading the video from last night, plus the highlights of Tiger!, to Jaina's datapad.

Oh, that was going to be a great surprise. "Thank you," she said, leaning against the wall as she waited. "I promise I won't tell anyone it was you."

Artoo tweetled and spun in a circle. Most of the parts on his tray stayed put. Four screws and a stuffed plush hamster fell off.

Jaina bent to pick the parts up, holding the hamster up questioningly.

Artoo gave her a very innocent little whistle. Can't a droid collect plush hamsters if he so chooses?
