Jaina didn't tend to get a lot of sleep on a normal night, which meant that she'd been asleep for about an hour and a half before the doorchimes to her quarters began ringing. "Hi, Jedi Solo," said Dab with a smile. "My randomizer went off for a check-in, just to make sure you are where you're supposed to be."
Maybe it was the politeness, or just that last sentence in general, but Jaina couldn't help the spark of irritation that flared in her. "Satisfied?" she bit out.
"Yes. I mean, this isn't for me," he assured her. "It's just the rules."
"Then are we done here?"

Jaina had closed the door before he even finished his sentence. It was a shame she couldn't slam it.
