Thanksgiving with the extended AU family in Connecticut was likely to be strange no matter how Jaina looked at it, but it was good to get away somewhere that wasn't Fandom or home. And as weird as her family was when you thought about it for more than two seconds, it did have its pluses. Namely, an alternate universe step-grandmother who was only a couple weeks older than her, and so it wouldn't look weird to see them together at a bar.

Of course, when they got to said bar, Jaina did the smartest thing she could possibly do tonight and held out her phone to Rory. "Hide that for me?"
