( While Jaina was sure the sheer ferocity with which she trained sometimes raised eyebrows, she would have loved to point out that occasionally she had to do things like try to make her way through an unfamiliar Vongformed planet in what was brewing up to be a major storm as fast as possible while keeping up with commandos and the greatest Jedi ever, and that in itself she thought should give her reason to defend her training to her death. )

( Jaina had spent part of her night in a prison, part of her night helping a prisoner escape and then hanging out with a bunch of young revolutionaries until they got caught, and the rest of her night on the run with the Rodian member of the team, trying to mislead their followers away from Malinza. It had been a really. long. night. Which was to say nothing for how bad her morning was. )

Jaina wasn't exactly hiding. She'd simply gotten up early, gone for a run, and figured that maybe it wouldn't be so bad that radio reported the morning after drunken antics. After all, Anakin had said he wouldn't be back till next week, so that gave time, right?

Then when she got back to her alcove after her post-run shower, she found a voicemail.

And okay, now she was kind of hiding. She was calling it "staying in and going through work" but it was hiding.

( By the time they started making their way through the slave city, the allergic reaction due to the bites had subsided, and the group had all but fully recovered. Considering they had to deal with grenades being launched at them, voxyn attacks, and slaves begging them to get them out of there, it was a good thing they didn't have more injuries to worry about. (Warning for violence under the cut.) )
