Centax 2- whenever Thursday Fandom time
Apr. 12th, 2012 06:33 amWhen Jaina rejoined the military, she wasn't sure exactly what her orders would be or where she'd be placed. After so much time away, save for helping with the occasional mission when needed, she'd expected to be recruited into someone's squadron.
Instead, they gave her the Rogues. As in, she was in charge of them.
It was one thing to be put into an elite squadron, but something else to be leading it, and this was where she'd started out when she was only sixteen. And it was just good to be doing the job she'd actually chosen again. If she wasn't a Jedi, this was exactly what she would be doing. She didn't like this newest almost-war, didn't want to have to do it, but she liked planning and strategizing and putting her brain to work. Wedge would also probably be glad to know she really had missed flying, too. Getting to fly an X-wing as part of Jedi business or routine travel wasn't really the same.
If only she could get all her paperwork done. She'd never liked this part, and as she looked at her chrono and realized she'd meant to leave about an hour ago, Jaina decided it wouldn't hurt her just to finish up this one thing before leaving.
[Though you can and should totally call, email or text to keep her there later just because. Possible SP warning depending on what I walk into at work today.]
