Jaina never would have thought she'd be hearing her doorchimes in the middle of the night again, and by the time she'd pulled a robe on to go open the door, she was pretty much ready to hit whoever was on the other side of it. Of course, she knew who was on the other side...

"Randomizer again," Dab said with an apologetic smile, holding up the device.

Jaina held out her hand. "Give it to me, I'm going to break that kriffing thing."

The smile disappeared, and he quickly pocketed the randomizer like he fully expected her to try and take it from him. "I can't do that, Jedi Solo. We'd both be in trouble, and-"

"Then you should go, before I break you instead," Jaina replied.

Dab swallowed. "Have a good night," he said, and hurried down the hall as Jaina closed the door behind him.

She leaned against the door for a moment, willing herself to leave the frustration here, and then returned to her bedroom after being interrupted by the adult doppleganger of her dead brother, pausing at the door. "Yeah, I'm not going to be able to do this," she realized.

From the bed, Jag sighed. "Remind me to thank him later. Possibly with a fist to the face."

"So, so done," she agreed.

[WHAT I HAD TO. NFB, NFI or I think Jaina may come to life and kill you.]

Jaina's portal was delayed. She had no idea how a portal could be delayed, but here she was. After a while of waiting at the causeway, she'd come to the beach, figuring that if she was going to be stuck waiting, she should at least get a change of scenery.

Watching the waves made her think too much, though. About her grandfather and Tiny Mom, about how certain things just kept popping up through the years, even about how much her thinking had changed since she was sixteen. That was when she'd check her datapad to read up on what was going on on Corellia, because potential conflict was a happier subject.

Or she'd check on her portal's ETA and curse at the very idea of gnomes when she saw it was delayed again. How?

[Open!

Aaaaand since I'm popular today: Zayne | Anakin | Ben | Luke | Rory | Eric]

Amazingly, today hadn't gone badly as Jaina had feared. And she hadn't sung once, which, under the circumstances, was probably a really good thing. That didn't however mean that she was wanting to be spending a lot of time letting herself think too hard for too long. Besides, doing nothing when she came all this way was boring.

So if she ended up finding Eric, that really shouldn't be a surprise by now. And if one thing led to another, that should probably be even less of a surprise. And if it resulted in any sort of destruction of property... okay, well, that was new.

[This post always looked like this. For that guy who lives there! So to speak.]

Anyone who thought that Jaina could never really go evil, killing all indiscriminately and all that, really only had to look at her this week before taking back all previous thoughts. Between the bed-breaking (which at the time had actually been funny), fight in flight club, interrupted... gymness and subsequent fire drill, any good mood she'd had at the start of the week was gone. Completely. Dammit.

At the moment she was trying to busy herself with reports, idly playing with her comlink, thumbing it on, and then thumbing it off again as she reminded herself that no, she was not allowed to go home to kill Vong in a mood like this. That was what got her into trouble in the first place.

Not that it was stopping the thought any.

[I like the linkdrops lately. Establishy, though if you wanna knock, I'm not stopping your character's suicidal tendencies.]

Jaina was trying very hard not to let what Ganner had said get to her. She was failing miserably. But she was at least doing a fairly okay job of hiding it, maybe.

She tried to focus on John, and when he started getting better, she focused on work, too. She was relieved to get back to Fandom for once, though, just to get away from the situation. Stepping into the room, she decided, "This is more like it."

[For the bf, who I am shamelessly modding. Merry Christmas to me!]
